Tooker joined VRA in 2026. He is primarily responsible for conducting buy-side searches for the firm’s clients and for originating and managing strategic referral relationships. His background in proprietary origination and buy-side advisory helps guide buy-side clients, business owners and their advisors through the various paths to achieving their objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Tooker was a Senior Associate at River Capital, a private investment firm in Atlanta. While at River Capital, he built and led the firm's proprietary origination function, integrating automation and AI to expand its reach, and launched its buy-side advisory practice serving family offices, private equity groups and their portfolio companies.
Tooker received a BA from Rhodes College.
