Ben joined VRA in 2025 and is primarily responsible for identifying and advising prospective clients and covering financial sponsors. His diverse industry background in private equity and corporate development help guide prospective clients through an understanding of the various paths to achieving their objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben was a vice president of business development at 7 Mile Advisors (acquired by Houlihan Lokey), a boutique investment bank in Charlotte, NC. While at 7 Mile Advisors, he led efforts in sourcing new buy-side and sell-side mandates worldwide. Prior to 7 Mile Advisors, he worked at Harris Computer, a Constellation Software (XTSE: CSU) subsidiary, on the corporate development team.
Ben began his career at Caymus Equity, a private equity firm in Atlanta, where he originated new platform investments and add-on acquisitions for the portfolio.
Ben received a BS degree from Wofford College, where he was a member of the Wofford Men's Soccer and Football Teams.
