Chris Rowen, Vice President

As a former equities analyst and management consultant, Mr. Rowen brings significant industry experience and contacts to VRA Partners in the areas of technology, distribution, manufacturing and logistics.

At SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Soleil Securities, Mr. Rowen was a nationally recognized equity analyst. In 2005, Mr. Rowen was named the top software stock picker in the Wall Street Journal’s “Best of the Street” report, outpacing 109 other analysts in the sector. Mr. Rowen was also named one of 10 national “Home Run Hitters” in 2000 by Institutional Investor Magazine for his work on supply chain software companies. In addition to supply chain software, Mr. Rowen’s areas of coverage have included application software, digital media, Internet and financial outsourcing.

Prior to his career as an equities analyst, Mr. Rowen spent nine years as a management consultant at High Performance Concepts and Coopers & Lybrand. As a consultant, Mr. Rowen led supply chain improvement projects at Fortune 500 firms and many smaller companies. Mr. Rowen helped these companies review and realign their strategic objectives, streamline their operating practices and implement state-of-the art information systems, in order to achieve improved efficiencies in sourcing, manufacturing and distribution. Mr. Rowen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
