Brock is a Managing Director and a co-founder of VRA Partners.  Brock focuses on Business Services & Technology transactions for VRA Partners and brings both investment banking and operating experience to the firm.  Brock also brings deep industry knowledge in various sub-sectors such as Legal Services & Technology, Marketing Services & Technology and Healthcare Services & Technology.

Prior to founding VRA Partners, Brock was a Director and senior member of the Private Markets Group of The Robinson-Humphrey Company and its successor, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Brock also headed up the firm’s Document Management and Outsourced Business Services efforts.  Prior to joining Robinson Humphrey, Brock performed middle-market investment banking for Dain Bosworth (a full-service investment banking firm and predecessor to RBC Capital Markets) and the boutique firm of Croft & Bender.  Additionally, Brock worked in the healthcare industry as a   Business Development professional for First Physician Care (a practice management company backed by Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe) heading its Midwest development efforts. 

Brock received his A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and his MBA, with concentrations in Finance and Private Equity, from the University of Chicago.
