Ron Shah, Director

Ron joined VRA Partners at inception in 2006. From 2002 to 2006, Ron was employed by SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he was a member of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunication Group and the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. His responsibilities included the execution of merger and acquisition assignments, financial advisory assignments, and private placements and public offerings of equity and convertible securities for emerging growth and middle market clients across a wide range of industries including business services, consumer products, media, retail, technology, and textiles.

Prior to joining SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Ron spent five years as a management consultant with Computer Sciences Corporation and Clarkston Consulting, one summer as a Summer Associate with The Robinson-Humphrey Company, the predecessor of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and one year as a Venture Capital Intern with Tall Oaks Capital Partners, a seed and early stage venture capital firm focused on the technology and healthcare industries.

Ron graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Babson College in 1996. He earned his Master of Business Administration from The Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia in 2002.
